You conservatives can come out of the closet now and admit that FOX is biased. Because today, the FOX news corporation gave a 1 million dollar donation to the Republican Governors Association.
Fox also hosts such personalities as Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mike Huckabee. All of these personalities visciously defend the Bush administration.
According to Pew Poll, 24% claimed FOX to be unbiased. According to MSNBC, 27% claimed FOX to be unbiased. According to CNN, 33% claimed FOX to be unbiased. According to Rasmussen Reports, 36% claimed FOX to be unbiased.
By personal observation, I think the most hilarious thing about FOX news is that whenever there is a debate, the only way that the anchors can be successful is by shouting over the guest, repeating themselves, and outright ignoring the guest. Whenever the guest manages to get a few words in about their bias or politics, they usually say it is time for the guest to leave.
If you are one of these statistics, explain why.
FOX News,"Fair & Balanced".
I do not watch MSNBC because it is as liberal as FOX is conservative. I know that ABC has a slight liberal bias, so I try to watch it and a few slightly conservative stations to give me multiple views to form my opinion on.

Everyone agrees that having a huge debt is not sustainable. Most cons seem to think that cutting all funding for science, education, social services for poor people will be enough to cure the budget problems but in reality, 2/3-3/4 of the budget is nothing but Social Security, Medicare, military and war spending and interest payments on the debt. Even if no other money was spent we would still be in the hole. So will we make a decision before it is too late? Greece refused to choose, they were unwilling to tax the rich but the politicians knew nobody would vote for them if they promised to get rid of social services.
Barry Marx: Just answer the question. Do you want to have SS and Medicare available to you when you become 65, or would you rather Bill Gates and Warren Buffet had to buy one less boat per year? Are you going to take your own ‘rational self interest’ into account like libertarians believe in or is altruism for the rich more important
0bozo the Marxist Clown: Here’s the budget:
http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2010/02/01/us/budget.html
As far as I know the money required for the wars is comes from emergency spending bills and is not included there but I may be wrong.
Michael: That claim is false and is never accompanied by any supporting data. If it made any sense at all then logically we could cut all taxes to zero, and then the next day we would have no deficit

I know this kind of sounds like at wierd question, but it is actually something that I have been wondering about for a very long time. Forgive my misspellings here, English is not my main language.
When I was younger and kind of in the middle of growing up and establishing an identity and desiding what to reject and what to percieve as reality of the things I got served, I started to believe in all the stuff I don’t believe in now. Like i.e. "The Law of Attraction". Now I KNOW for sure that this is something that I do not want to believe in, and I have recently been enjoying all the entertainment from Derren Brown and such people. Skeptics I believe we can call them.
Anyways, when I was younger I strongly believed, and my uncle too. So I took in much knowledge from him. He still believes and is on his way to become a very rich man. I too want to be rich, and have wanted to become that in a long time too, but I kind of feel I got burned on that "Law of Attraction"-crap. I believed so strongly, and then I stopped believeing. But since TLOA is actually teaching many true and real concepts of life, but putting them in a, well, unrealistic and false context, I feel like I don’t trust those real concepts anymore.
And therefore I feel afraid when I search for help on the internet, for example on how to become a better person, and I come over a self-help program. It may well be a good program, but I get overly skeptic and turn it down in an instant.
Now I want to improve on my personality as a salesman, but all of the programs and really good people out there sounds like and reminds me so much of this LOA-crap that I can’t do anything but feel like they are serving me a whole lot of bullshit. I feel like this feeling actually keeps me away from so many opportunities and such, but I don’t know how to change. Because changing means accepting, and that means a risk of accepting things that are not true, and that can hurt me in the way LOA once did.
Therefore I also wonder: Can people who are skeptic become rich? People who truly don’t believe in any of the LOA-crap and such. Can they, just by being themselves and not by using some wierd, supernatural force that comes from the field of pseudo-science, become rich people (or successful in any other aspect of their life, where they want to be.)
And how can I get rid of the feelings I have and start improving myself? I kind of feel stuck in one place, and I want to change that. But also, the thought of freedom in this field, it scares me.
Thank’s for taking the time to reading and answering me

I believe strongly in freedom and self-empowerment. I think that there should be no state but a community run by the people in which people can work together to socially improve society. I believe that justice should be retributive and play out like karma, the punishment should always fit the crime. Tax and debt should be abolished, religion should not be allowed to be involved in politics or decision making and reason and science should be trusted to make government decisions. Saving lives, doing important things and scientific experiments shouldn’t need to cost money, let alone huge amounts of money, for it is a selfish attitude that could be self-destructive. Money should only be used to help you live and to buy groceries and luxuries. Proselytism should be punished and society should be motivated by choice. The morality of society should be adaptable and fit the situation. For example, if your friend were in danger would you do bad things to save him/her? The basic principle of that is that sometimes you need to do bad things for a greater good, like a moral balance if you will. People should not shun others for their beliefs, their race, their likes and dislikes, their life choices or their background. People should not excuse evil acts for a religious cause. Remember Paul Hill? No one wants that repeated. Those who do significant good to others should be rewarded. Those who hold or force power over weaker individuals should be punished. The same goes for bureaucratic, theocratic and authoritarian bodies, people or organisations.
Here are the ten fundamental principles of this philosophy.
1. "Try to be understanding towards one another". If you are understanding towards your friends and family or someone who has lived through a tragedy and not blaming the victim, you will be more of good person.
2. "Seek out enlightenment". This means that you should strive to develop a conviction that suits you and celebrate your self-enlightenment.
3. "Liberate yourself from suffering". This is similar to the concept of Moksha in Indian religions. This means that if you wallow in self-pity through family struggles you won’t get anywhere. You must seek out liberation by any means necessary.
4. "Always be just". Justice should not be contaminated by political correctness, religion or conventional concepts of good and evil. As I already described, justice should be karmic and retributive. The punishment should suit the crime.
5. "Freedom is a true blessing". Freedom of speech, of expression, of thought, of affiliation and of action are the greatest gifts anyone can have or give. Some would say it leads to "wickedness", but I disagree. Freedom can be used for good, whatever happens, good or bad, is down to what people do with freedom. Seek out freedom and/or help others attain it.
6. "Knowledge is power". Knowledge is the greatest gift next to freedom. Knowledge can and should be used to help people and shape society, that itself is a greater virtue.
7. "Be kind to those that need kindness". This means that you should at least try to show some benevolence to those that are truly underprivileged or disadvantaged. People should at least try to be altruistic to others and altruism like that should be rewarded. Governments today never do this at all. If governments think altruism is good they should treat it that way.
8. "We should all be treated as equals". Whether we are rich, poor, black, white, men, women or children, we should all be treated equally. No one is better than anyone else, not even a monarch. No one should be venerated as if they were a holy object, but at the same time no one should be treated like they are worthless. We should all treat each other equally, especially as friends.
9. "Goodness is not a straight line". Sometimes you have to go to any lengths to do good, even if it means doing bad things in the process. But this is not the same is excusing evil acts for a certain cause or agenda. A moral balance would be very flexible.
10. "Be yourself". No one makes you live life but yourself. Be yourself, be true to yourself, believe in yourself, have faith in yourself. Self-empowerment is good for your, but there is such thing as going too far. Nonetheless, the self-empowerment can help you acheive the inherent human power in you. You never know, there might even be a god-like potential in humanity.
@Nameless How DARE you!?
@Nameless How DARE you!?
@Nameless I wish you wouldn’t mock me! I believe in freedom, not forcing people to believe! And anyways, beliefs aren’t just religion, that’s pretty biased. Beliefs are just you believe, even if its not as a religion.
@Eternal Realm Are you sure? I hold freedom to be of the utmost importance. Communism doesn’t think the same.

Hi, I have a 2 and a half year old french bulldog with an extremely sensitive stomach. To give you all some background, when we first brought her home at 12 weeks she was on Royal Canine for puppies. After just a few weeks she basically stopped eating it and eventually we switched to Merricks Puppy Plate. At first she seemed to love that but also stopped eating it after a few weeks. We slowly changed her food over like we had read so I know that wasn’t the issue. She started getting real bad diarrhea and after some research we decided to try and switch to a raw diet of those frozen raw lamb patties. Once again she ate them at first but after a little while would not eat at all.
Again she was getting sick a lot and after numerous vet visits they recommended we try the Science ID or the Natural Balance sweet potato and venison since they said the raw food was way too rich for her. We tried the Science ID first and once again she seemed to love it for about two weeks and then would not eat unless she was completely starving. So then I tried the Natural Balance sweet potato and venison. Finally it seemed like we had a winner as she was having great stools and seemed to like the food. Low and behold after a nice run she stopped eating the food again. She also started having a ton of mucus in her stool and bad bouts of diarrhea off and on. Again we took her to the vet and had her stool tested with every test coming back fine.
So a month ago I started to mix in canned chicken into her kibble. I made sure to find the lowest sodium canned chicken there was and when i mixed it in she seemed to love it and would finish all of her food. Again we had a nice run where things seemed to go well but then the diarrhea and mucus came back and she has had a few days of vomiting over the past few weeks. Since the vomiting only occurred a few times over the course of a couple weeks and there has been no blood or diarrhea at the same time I have not brought her back to the vet.
When she does eat she seems to try and only eat the chicken and really doesn’t seem to like the Natural Balance sweet potato and venison kibble at all anymore. Is there a different kibble out there i should try or have I totally screwed her up by switching her food so much? I just really want her to be happy and healthy but just dont know what the right thing to do at this point is. Is it bad that I have been using canned chicken? I read that it should be ok and my vet said that it should be great. Someone else told me that chicken may be hard on her stomach and that i should use cooked ground beef instead. It just seems like everyone has a different opinion and I dont know what is the right way to go at this point. I have also thought about trying a different kind of Natural Balance like the duck and potato but am afraid that she will like it for about a month and then stop eating again.
Sorry for the super long-winded question but I just wanted to give as much detail as possible. Thanks in advance for any response!

I mean seriously after you make like over 500 million dollars you are set for life and can even have your kids set. However their are people like Bill Gates who have like 50 Billion dollars and they still want more or like Donald Trump who insist that their golf course needs a huge flag pole and his airplane has gold faucets. If I had even like 10 million I would be happy and stop trying to get more wealthy or I would give the rest of my income to helping people out. Rich people who have tons of money and just spend it on ridiculous crap like gold toilets seats and personal airplanes are scumbags in my book. Instead of putting that money to good use like building Waste to Energy facilities, creating farms in poor countries that have millions of people starving and funding fields of science that make cures for diseases along with finding a cure for cancer, AIDS, Malaria etc they decide yeah well screw these people this money is better spent on buying myself tons of cars and a huge house for myself in the summer time. As for them donating to charities they only do that so they can get a tax break so they can make more money in the long run. Why is it extremely rich people just hate to help other people and only truly care about blowing millions on themselves and making more? Is it a mental issue these people have or just greed?
Skelp http://www.gatesfoundation.org/Pages/home.aspx
That doesn’t mean squat all it really means is he has so much money he can not only donate to a charity he can actual make one then say "Hey I gave money(0.000001% of annual income) to needy people around the world so I’m a good person."
